Mercury. A text based marble sculpture by David Parfitt, based on one of the seven alchemical planets, sited at Pfizer’s headquarters in Sandwich Several marble fragments each inscribed with a single word with multiple meanings, scattered over a lawn, like the remnants of a paper-chase. The result of a discussion with a group of research scientists about oracular solutions to work problems. The intention was that the sculpture could be used to nudge a solution out of a problem.
